Our Menu

Our event menu has been carefully designed to offer the greatest possibilities in choice of fare while delivering the finest food at a fair price. Taste and presentation are both critical to our success. After consulting with our event team, Chef Tracy can assist you through the selection process to ensure that your event has the just right balance.

Always searching for the freshest local ingredients and preparing them with detail, we celebrate our work. Our event menu offers some of the finest food on the Outer Banks; however, we can offer custom selections or create a completely custom menu for your event. We understand how overwhelming preparing for an event can be, that is why we are here. After all, we are The Catering Company of Hatteras Island.

Hors D’Oeuvres

Seared Ahi Tuna

Encrusted in sesame seeds and sautéed with a toasted ginger vinegarette on belgian endive

Shrimp Cocktail

Served with Hatteras style cocktail sauce and lemon wedge on a bed of mixed greens

Local carolina shrimp tossed in a tangy roasted garlic barbeque sauce and sautéed

Cucumber with Summer Salsa

English cucumber slices summer salsa created with the freshest pineapples, mangos, and a blend of sweet and spicy garden peppers.

Pesto Chicken Croustini

Grilled chicken breast on an herbed parmesan croustini and topped with fresh basil pesto

Roasted Red Pepper & Fresh Mozzarella Croustini

Served on an herbed parmesan croustini finished with an aged balsamic drizzle

Roast Beef on Toast Point

Medium rare roasted beef sliced thin and topped with creamy horseradish on buttered toast point

Chicken Satay

Chicken breast sliced thin and marinated in sesame soy and grilled to perfection and served with spicy peanut sauce

Mini Crab Cakes

Our crab cakes are made with jumbo lump crab meat and mixed with just enough breading to hold them together served golden brown with créole mustard

Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Our jumbo lump crab mix stuffed in juicy mushrooms and topped with parmesan breadcrumbs

Parmesan Encrusted Mushroom Risotto

Risotto tossed with assorted mushrooms and breaded with a parmesan and bread crumb mixture, cooked to a golden brown with a creamy horseradish sauce

Herb marinated chicken sautéed with applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions and sundried tomatoes tossed in a rich white wine sauce finished with sweet butter and penne pasta

Carolina Shrimp Fra Diavolo
